Doctrinal Statement
We Believe...
1. In the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament as verbally inspired of God, inerrant in the original writings, and that they are of supreme and final authority n faith and life. (II Tim 3:16, II Pet. 1:21
2. In one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 3:13-17; 28:19, Gen 1:26)
3. That Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, and is True God and True Man. (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25)
4. That man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility, become sinners in thought, word, and deed. (Rom. 5:12, 3:10,23; Psalm 51:5)
5. That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. (John 3:8; 10:11; Isa. 53:5)
6. In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there for us, as High Priest and Advocate. (Matt. 28:6,46 Lk. 24:3; I Cor. 15:6; Heb. 7:25; 9:224).
7. In the local Church, which was established by Jesus Christ. The entrance into the church is based on a public profession of Faith in Jesus Christ as Lord. The ministry of the church is the propagation of the gospel through means including education (Matt. 28:19; 16:16-18; Acts 2:442).
8. In "The Blessed Hope" the personal, premillennial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (I Th 4:16-17; Acts 1:10-11; II Th 2).
9. That all who receives by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. The Scripture teach the doctrine of the Preservation of the saints. (John 3; Rom. 10:9-10; Gal. 4:7)
10. Security of the believer (Eph.4:30)
